Established records in our files show that Jerusalem Court (Alexander Court) was organized as early as 1905. A bank account was opened in the name of Alexander Court on December 29, 1905 with the Savings Bank of Baltimore. Further documentation shows the late Fannie Brown was the dynamic lady responsible for organizing our court

Details about the formulation of Alexander Court will be displayed in the History Room at our 100th Anniversary, May 5-8, 2005 at the Wyndham Inner Harbor Hotel, Baltimore, Maryland.

In 1945, by edict of the Imperial Council, it was ordered that all courts in the domain take the name of the corresponding temple in their oases; therefore, Alexander Court No. 1 became Jerusalem Court No. 1 , Daughters of Isis.

A few highlights of Jerusalem Court's accomplishments are as follows;

100 Daughters have served as Actual Illustrious Commandresses.

     Many Daughters have been given Honorary Degrees of Past Commandress for their work  outstanding work.

     We have been fortunate to have had two Daughters to serve as Actual Imperial Commandresses of the Imperial Court, Daughters of Isis. The late Bessicella W. Smith and the late Gladys W. Dixon. The court has formed the Smith-Dixon Scholarship in honor of these two daughters.

     Thirteen Daughters have been given the Honorary Degree of Past Imperial Comandress, for their years of dedicated service to the Imperial Court.

     Many of the daughters have served with distinction and are presently serving our court and the Imperial Council in various capacities.
